  • Sue Benjamin

    Sue Benjamin is a retired elementary school teacher whose passion has always been fitness.  During her years as a teacher and now in her retirement, Sue continues to improve her skills as a fitness instructor by attending many, varied certifications programs.  Sue is certified to teach Nordic Walking, Vinyasa Yoga, Zumba, Hoopnotica, YogaFit Inboard, barefoot strength and motion, barre and PIYO ™.   Sue also enjoys skiing, walking and rowing scull boats.  She also holds an advanced degree in educational administration from Oswego State.

  • Debbie Bobbett

    Debbie Bobbett earned a BS in Health Promotion/Exercise Physiology & Gerontology from Lynchburg College in 1998. She is currently working towards a Masters in Health Education from SUNY Cortland. Debbie is a Certified Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor through AFAA- Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, Certified Health Education Specialist through The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Nutrition Specialist through Lifestyle Management Associates, Pilates & Sport Yoga Instructor through National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, Certified Perinatal Instructor through Healthy Moms Corporation, and Indoor Cycling Instructor. She attributes her success to her passion for health & wellness, ability to motivate & work with all populations.

  • Judiann Cesta

    Judiann Cesta is a graduate of Synergy Center for yoga and the healing arts in Miami Beach, Florida. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an e-ryt with over 1,000 hours of teaching experience. In addition Judiann has trained more experienced yoga students to become yoga teachers. She has been teaching yoga at Mirbeau for over 9 years.

  • Courtney Chase

    Courtney received her training from Trimurti Yoga in Dharamsala, India. The 5 week journey she took in the motherland of yoga has forever instilled in her how beneficial yoga can be. Ever since, she has continued to broaden and deepen her practice with the guidance of many amazing teachers from different traditions. Their training, along with her own ever present desire to learn, has made her a diverse instructor. Courtney is experienced in leading the gentle practices of yin & restorative, more powerful practices including vinyasa, ashtanga & sivananda, and specialty practices including children’s yoga. She also specializes in private one-on-one sessions which truly mold the practice to the student’s individual needs. She is passionate about finding balance and cares deeply about sharing the many healing aspects of yoga.

    Courtney blends her skills as a yoga teacher and as a fitness professional to help guide others to find their own balance. She is a 200 hour multi style Registered Yoga Teacher, certified Personal Trainer and also carries certifications in pilates, group exercise, indoor cycling, the willPower Method, as well as various other specialty fitness programs.

  • Tyson Chang

    Tyson is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and continually educates himself about the latest in exercise science, nutrition and sporting trends. His training philosophy is to emphasize functional movements and core strength, through fun and varied workouts. He has always been passionate about fitness and is an avid soccer and hockey player. Tyson finished two marathons and various other races at shorter distances. While training for these races, he identified a real passion for helping his friends meet their fitness goals. He loves investigating the best methods to improve and achieve muscular strength.Tyson’s goal is to have you feel more positive about your appearance and abilities and improve your functional strength.

  • Eliza Decker

    Eliza has been a personal trainer since 2003 when she was living in Colorado. Health and wellness have always been a part of her life. She has been a competitive swimmer her whole life, finishing that part of her life while at Syracuse University. When swimming was over, Eliza turned to spinning in 2001. She spent the last 8 years working at Syracuse University overseeing the fitness facilities as well as overseeing the personal training department. Her focus is now preventative wellness.   • Lindsay Downing

    Lindsay began practicing yoga in 2009 and completed her 200 hour certification with the Boston Yoga School in January 2015. Mostly drawn towards alignment-based classes in her own practice, she hopes to teach classes emphasizing proper alignment, the breath, and moving mindfully through the postures. Lindsay loves practicing yoga for the strength and balance it has brought to her life and for the beautiful people and teachers she has met along the way. Lindsay grew up in Virginia, went to college in Tennessee, lived in northern California for 5 years and is currently a graduate student at SU.

  • Michele Gardner

    Michele Gardner is a certified 800hr RYT Dharma Yoga teacher under the guidance of living yoga master, Sri Dharma Mittra. She also teaches classes combining essential oils and yoga to balance, open and heal the body.  BFA in Graphic Design, she worked in Boston for over ten years and now owns her own studio for twenty years here in beautiful Skaneateles.

  • Tina Ramsden

    Tina Ramsden is registered by Yoga Alliance, E-RYT. Her trainings include Yin Yoga, Sarah Powers, Vinyasa Yoga, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste and Sean Corn. As well as Therapeutic Teacher Training in Self Awakening Yoga with Dr. Don Stapleton. She earned a BSE in the field of health education as a Recreational Therapist  from SUNY Cortland. Tina is Certified through The American Council on Exercise and a Certified Kripalu Danskinetics Teacher as well as a Certified Personal Trainer. Tina has 25+ years’ in health & wellness and is currently working on advanced yoga training in the style of Anusara and Yin Yoga.  She continues her studies to bring back fresh and new perspectives to students!

  • Terry Ross

    Terry brings his enthusiasm and love of yoga combined with knowledge of body alignment and mechanics to each practice.

    He has devoted twenty years to studying and integrating yoga into his life. Yoga is his passion. His classes are fun and playful with easy-to-follow instructions,encouraging students of all levels to work deeply while honoring their own practice, working within their limitations yet helping them reach and go beyond their edge.

    He began teaching yoga in 2011, primarily focusing on the physical aspects of yoga. It wasn’t until he met Baron Baptiste in 2012 that he fully realized he could get a total workout through Baptiste Yoga – body, mind AND soul. He completed his 500 hours of training under the tutelage of Baron and The Baptiste Power Yoga Institute. Terry now spends his life teaching the Baptiste Journey Into Power Sequence and a class called YOD(Your Own Determination), which combines power yoga and plyometrics. Whenever he can, he continues to assist teacher trainings around the country with Baron and the amazing people of the Baptiste family.

    Terry began practicing Yoga to make a positive change in his life. Through his teaching, he hopes to make a positive change in other people’s lives as well .

  • Julia Wamp

    Julia Wamp has been a resident of Skaneateles for 12 years, moving here from New York City.  She has always been active, running and triathlons were her most recent passion.  After her 3 children went off to school, Julia decided to put her love of fitness together with the opportunity of instructing and guiding others to a healthy life style.   Certified Spin Instructor, TRX Suspension Training Instructor and Group Exercise through AFAA.

  • Kate Murray

    Kate started practicing yoga in 2013. For Kate, yoga allowed space and freedom to look inward on a journey that has unfolded into a more balanced, healthier lifestyle. The transformative tools yoga offered her, led to her growing passion and completion of her 200-hr certification with Boston Yoga School in 2016 at Oyoga. Thankful for the many inspiring teachers she has had along the way, she hopes to offer classes that hold space for students to explore release and openness in a structure that focuses on proper alignment, breath and transitioning mindfully.
